1972 Rapido

This is for the person who is looking for a fun restoration project. It is a 125cc 1972 AMF-Harley Davidson RAPIDO. These were quite the bike to have in the late 60's and early 70's. They were made in the land of Enrico Caruso by Aermacchi - which was purchased by Harley-Davidson in their expansionist mode, to combat the rise in imported motorcycle sales. This featured Rapido is ALL THERE but needs a complete restoration as I hope you can see in my pictures. Parts should be more-or-less readily available as Aermacchis have a pretty good following. Tell your spouse to buy it for you as an early Christmas present. This would also make a good father/son project so that you can show him how things were in the "Good Ole Days" before auto-mix and fuel injection.
